Gossip Girl ..... challenging stereotypes!
I watched an episode of Gossip Girl (Season 2) that struck my interest!
Blair and Chuck were off to find Georginia (Serena's friend) to find out the truth about Serena's strange boyfriend Gabriel. They ended falling asleep in the car and when they woke up, they had the same reaction: they wake up and literaly scrutinize themselves in the mirror. They both touch their hair, then pull out a purse full of brushes, and/or cosmetics to fix themselves up before they step out of the car.
Who said only women cared about their looks? Appearance should not be only associated with females because males too are worried about what they wear, or even how they look. I find it SEXIST when people say: "Oh well u r such a girl" just because someone wants to look elegant. Chuck is the perfect example of the guy who cares about what others see and think in terms of physical appearance.
Don't you people think that associating a particular behavior is off limit?
If you want to check it out (the episode), it is the 22nd episode of the 2nd season around the 30th minute.
